The Startup Café began with that simple idea. It is a place for founders, indie hackers, and developers to share what they are building, get honest feedback, learn from each other, find co-founders, and spread the word about their projects.
Whether you are launching your first side project, building a SaaS, or still working out an idea, there is a seat for you. Nobody here is gatekeeping, and nobody is pretending to have it all figured out. It is people building things, sharing the journey, and helping each other grow.

We review it
A real person reads every application and replies to you by email.

No single tech stack, no perfect roadmap.
A bit of code, a lot of curiosity, and probably more browser tabs than anyone needs. We work with different tools, languages, and frameworks depending on what we are building. Some of us are shipping SaaS products, some are experimenting with side projects, and some are still trying to work out why the code worked five minutes ago.
Coffee is optional. Debugging is not.

Who can join?
Founders, indie hackers, and developers at any stage are welcome. You can be launching a first side project, building a SaaS, or still working out an idea.
How do I join the organization on DEV?
Send an application on the join page with your DEV username and a short note about what you are building. We review every application and reply by email.
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. Applying is free.
What can I share in the Café?
Share the project you are building, lessons from your journey, questions you are stuck on, and requests for feedback or a co-founder. Posts from the Café appear on our page on DEV.
Do I need to drink coffee?
Coffee is optional. Debugging is not.
How can I reach the team?
Use the contact page. Your message goes straight to the people who run the Café.
